Expanded Materials - Stones and Mortars | Content roadmap

Hey there folks! I may've posted parts of it before, but now I decided to officially post this small "roadmap" or just sheet of planned features for the upcoming mod of the Expanded Materials series. Stones and mortars will include some new stone types, the possibility to make bricks out of clay or mud, and will add mortar materials. These last will probably have an use on walls, or maybe they will just be used to make other structures, pretty much like the concrete mix I've added to Expanded Materials - Metals, I haven't decided it yet, but as always, I'm open to hear your suggestions.

I'll look forward to keep developing the mods I've planned on the roadmap and to update previous ones with whatever patches and tweaks they may need, but new mods will be prioritized.

Thanks for your generous and awesome support and I hope you enjoy the content <3

The walls suggestion is just exactly what I had in mind! Glad to see someone else thinks it's a good idea. About compatibility, I'll try my best to patch overlapping content and to make the mod work with others that are similar. Sorry if my answer came up late, I usually don't check Patreon a lot and sometimes I miss the notifications.

Fully compatible with mods like Ceramics and Fertile Fields, I hope? My suggestion for mortar would be that it's something used to bind stony materials rather than as a construction or crafting material on its own. My ideas are: Keep vanilla walls as dry stone walls, and add a new set of walls that use mortar as well and have some benefit (maybe stronger or harder to breach). The same for floors, if you can think of a benefit. Mod-added stone bridges get mortar added to the recipes. Stone roofs which require mortar, which add beauty and/or protect from drop pods (like the steel roofs in Raise The Roof).
