Harrow!

Thank you for supporting this project through the month of February! There's been a lot going on lately, and I don't really have the mental or emotional capacity to write a newsletter update (which I normally do for the first week of a new month). In place of a production diary, I'll be dropping one of the recently revised draft pages!

If you've been following all the changes and iterations from previous posts, you'll know that I've been reshuffling pages, adding new ones and editing out some. To that end, I've inadvertently mislabeled some of the page numbers. It wouldn't be productive at this point to run back to rename all the posts, so I'll just be rolling with the punches like I've always been!

Original Page

Before all the major revisions, the following page would've featured Snares the lifeguard lion growing straight out of the changing rooms, shortly having ingested Pridestar's protein jizz whizz:

While there's nothing "wrong" with the page itself, in the context of the comic as a whole, it just felt very sudden when we cut out to an exterior wide shot, without actually seeing Snares' growth progress. The series of recent revisions was to address the pacing and to really allow readers to savor that slow growth process, instead of just going "BOOP" done.

New Page 15

The cut out to the changing room exterior has been shifted further back towards the end, and the original low-angle shot has been developed into a full-sized pin-up page to empha-size on Snares' transformation and growth. There are some foreground elements for size-comparison with toppling changing room lockers. In addition to the cleaned up version, we'll also be able to see the changing room ceiling to start caving in from the background. This will hopefully provide better continuity to the cut to the changing room exterior.
