While I try my best to maintain a consistent quality of work in my comic pages, there are times when I go off-model with my character faces., like in panel 3 here with Pridestar. It can be a double-edged sword when your work draws from mood and emotions. Which is why it's important to return with a clear editorial eye after the initial draft is done to spot for errors and make revisions where necessary.

In this later version, I've adjusted Pridestar's face to bring it back closer to how he should actually look, and kept most of the other panels as they were. A fair amount of time figuring out how to deliver the gags and punchline in this page, while inserting some character moments. Panels 5 and 6 is supposed to be a moment of vulnerability where Pridestar expresses how he's generally doesn't do well being ghosted. I find it tricky to put serious moments in sometimes because I end up leaning on too much exposition. Hopefully I can pull this one off once we arrive at the lettering phase.
