Born of Ashes...

Brings in his wife

Moros strode into the cell, a wicked grin plastered across his face. Behind him, he dragged a struggling Sarah, her wrists bound tightly with cruel, spiked shackles. A gag muffled her cries for help, and a shimmering magical sphere encased her head, obscuring her sight and hearing from the horrors before her.

John's heart raced as he saw his beloved wife, his eyes wide with fear and rage. He strained against his own bonds, desperate to reach out to her, but the chains held fast, biting into his flesh like the jaws of a ravenous beast.

Moros shoved Sarah to the ground, her body sprawling across the cold stone floor. He loomed over her, his clawed hand reaching out to grip her jaw, forcing her to meet his cruel, leering gaze.

"Look at this one," Moros gloated, his voice dripping with sadistic glee. "Such a pretty little thing, isn't she?" His eyes roamed over Sarah's body, lingering on her curves with a predatory hunger. "I wonder, dear sister, do you think she would scream as sweetly for me as she did for you?"

Kayla rolled her eyes, her lip curling in disgust. "Must you be so crass, dear brother? Can't you see we have business to attend to?"

Moros released Sarah with a cruel laugh, his hand trailing down to squeeze her breast roughly before he stepped back. Sarah recoiled, a muffled whimper escaping her gagged mouth.

Turning to John, Kayla's expression hardened, her eyes flashing with a cruel, merciless light. "I grow tired of your defiance, John Shadowcloak. You have until the count of three to change your mind and pledge your allegiance to our cause. If not..." She glanced down at Sarah, a wicked smile playing across her lips. "Then we will take your dear wife and make her suffer in ways you cannot imagine. And you will watch, helpless as a babe, as she screams and begs for mercy that will not come."

Kayla began to count, her voice a mocking sing-song. "One..."

John's heart raced, his mind reeling as he gazed at Sarah's terrified, obscured face. He knew the demons would not hesitate to carry out their threats, to inflict unimaginable horrors upon the woman he loved. And yet, he could not bring himself to betray the world, to consign it to the mercy of these cruel, power-hungry beings.

Moros stepped forward, his hand on Sarah's throat, his claws digging into her flesh until beads of blood welled up beneath the pressure. "Two..." he growled. "Choose quickly, hero. The clock ticks ever on."

John's mind raced, desperate for a way out, a means of escape. But he knew there was no escape, not truly. They had him trapped, and they knew it.

Sarah looked up at John, her eyes wide with fear and desperation. Even through the magical sphere, he could see the love and the plea in her gaze - the silent begging for him to save them both.

John's heart shattered, but his resolve hardened. He would not let them break him, not now, not ever. He would endure whatever torments they inflicted upon him, but he would not go quietly. He would not betray his principles, his people, his world.

"Thre ...."

Does John agree to this deal?
