Morning, so it’s not an American thing to just drive everywhere it’s just not a European thing. I’m Australian and I used to drive 5hrs (roughly 350km don’t know the distance in freedom units) at-least once a month to visit my mum before I moved to the uk last year. I did a road trip from London to Manchester which is like a 4 hr drive if you do it straight no stops or detours and people called me crazy for driving it. People in Europe are just not used to driving more than 15kms but those 15 kms will take like 2 hrs due to traffic. Have a great day everyone 😁

I definitely feel like without me, they'd starve to death in the airport. It just astounds me. Thanks for mentioning that. I've listen to you for so long about travel and now that I do it more, the advice from the podcasts has paid off so much!

2026-02-04 13:16:41 +0000 UTCBeavers cause local flooding to the areas they dam, obviously. But on the flip side, that area then becomes less susceptible to flash floods type events. Because the dams slow the water down and retain more of it. So while a beaver may flood your specific field, it also might prevent the bridge down stream from getting washed out by the next big storm.
