In the end you should do what you like. Art in any form is something that for me must be loved to do well. You can have perfect form but if you you don't like what you do something will be missing and you won't have pleasure doing it.

2018-11-26 04:46:26 +0000 UTCI knew I would end up in the minority but I really like the more rough style. I think it really help with the kind of art you're doing. Rough brush and edges doesn't necessarily mean unfinished, it might not be even less polished. Rougher lines might mean you have more work in some occasion when you have to work with smaller subjects. Like that worm pic, these worms would have probably needed more work in this style so they don't look like well noodles. My 2 cents. That said ultimately you should choose the style that you prefer to use. Unless you're taking a commission and someone is asking for a specific style since you have different, and because he's paying you for something specific, you should be the one to decide how you want to draw.
