Aiden (Easy yet so Difficult)

Firstly... let's pretend I don't have the memory of a goldfish and posted this last night rather than this afternoon. Now that we have that out of the way...

Aiden, our silver-tongued business wolf. He proved to be one of our easier designs, his color scheme is based off of the Eurasian Wolf and from there it was just finding a look that worked for him.

As you can imagine, the biggest obstacle was the hair. There were so many ways we could've taken him. We considered shorter hair styles, but it just quite sit right with me, and I really wanted that Fabio-esque mane if you know what I mean. Our initial drafting of his hair had high volume which we eventually trimmed a bit to avoid that more wild look. (Not that I wasn't a fan of the wilder hair style, it just didn't feel like it worked with his more business persona.)

Aiden still is the most difficult character for me to write if only due to his upbringing and perspective being quite different from my own. However, I have to admit in some ways he also is the most fun. He's no nonsense and he doesn't feel the need to filter himself unless provided good reason for doing so.

Conceptually though his power is also the one that fascinates me the most. Being able to inherently detect how someone is feeling at a given moment, whether it's anger, sadness, joy, or lust. Empathy is something I'm very excited to delve into with Aiden.

Some people have told me that they feel Aiden is too stiff, but we're only in the first act. Just like everybody else, this boy has layers we're gonna slow peel back. We've got big plans for this canine and we hope you're as excited as we are to explore his development.
