Sorry for the delay! after receiving the strike I took a couple days to reevaluate and had a huge midterm but now I am BACK IN ACTION AND READY TO POST MORE VIDYAS
For this video, I reacted to the highly recommended "Perfect Blue". I don't really have words to describe the feeling this film gave me but confusion and anxiety by the end of the film lmao. This is one of those films that really made me continue thinking about the meaning and timeline well after viewing and... I can definitely see how it was the inspiration for Requiem for a Dream.
I can't really say much else because after you watch it too you'll understand LOL

Mystery/Horror with vampires can't say more as that would spoil the story, really recommend checking that out.

I love Satoshi Kon's unique editing in all his films. His transitions were next level, sometimes he'll change to the next scene without you realising it! I can't wait for you to watch more of his films in the future ๐

2020-10-22 11:49:41 +0000 UTC"Tokyo Godfathers" is another masterpiece of Satoshi Kon. It's a story of three homeless people picking up a baby, which is very funny and heart warming. I highly recommend watching this during the Christmas season.
