Voltron : Shiro Fan Art (SD)

Currently I'm going through Netflix's Voltron series with Bopplmonster who hasn't seen any of it before. I have to admit I liked it a lot more the second time round watching it. Mostly because I'm paying more attention to it this time round. The series is quite deep and goes into many political themes and issues that parallel with real world issues.

Shiro of course is everyone's favorite. He's that older brother character that we all wanted when we grew up. I've always wanted to draw him and I'm glad i got the opportunity to do so.

What i love about this series is that it has really tired to maintain a good 80's vibe to it. I love the suits they have. I've always imagined scenarios where Shiro would try to hide his big bulge under his suit.

Shiro's everyday clothes are kinda cool too. Have you noticed how even it changes through the series? Unlike the space suit I can imagine it's possible to actually unzip and let it all hang out.

Going through the series again made for great reference because you realize his body is actually covered in scars.

Let's not forget his mechanical hand ... oh the fun you'd have ...

Shiro comes across as the strong silent type that keeps to himself and his Lion, but have you ever wondered what he actually does to bond with his Lion?

I will most likely draw him again, but who would yo like to see him paired with? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
