Timelapse Video - Marco Tied Up
Added 2018-12-03 07:05:21 +0000 UTCHi Guys! Hope you all had a pleasant weekend and that you enjoyed my previous drawing! I'll have to admit I can't stop looking at it. You ever worked on anything and when you finished wondered "how to hell did i manage to achieve that?". Generally when i do say that its generally for the wrong reason T_T
So as usual here is a timelapse of the image being created. Some note and tips I'd like to add:
- Sketch out your drawing on paper first, you'll find it much quicker. Scan it and have it as a layer to reference with.
- Draw yourself a stick figure so that you can use it as reference point for proportions.
- Use tools that distort what you've draw to get better shapes. You'll notice that the image will slowly lose intergrity though, so you may have to rework/redraw these lines as to not lose the quality.
- Don't draw an image with both sides mirrored identically. It makes for a bad composition. Try to make the pose interesting (even when its head on) to be different left from right.
- When painting on the lights and shadows, mark down where the light source is coming from. You'll find that you can visualize there the light hits and is obscured easier with this reference.
