Here is a Taiko Drummer pic I did to welcome in the Year of the OX!

I have always been fascinated with Taiko Drummers! Ever since I was a kid and my parents bought me a Chinese Drum I have been fascinated with them!

I suppose a Taiko drummer is a very specific type of Japanese drummer though! But i quite like to mix my Asian themes together for inspiration.

These guys are super manly and there art requires lots of stamina, concentration and discipline! This is something i would love to take up and learn one day! But until then i just gotta dream of Kentaro doing it for me!

So this image was inspired by an image i found online whilst on Pinterest which in term seems to come from www.dancingfactory.com (A musician at his Japanese taiko drum, with group 舞踊工場 buyokogyo ).

What stuck me was the pose! The way the legs were spread commanded such power and confidence!

I decided to add some tattoos though because do you know what? I think i got a thing for Asian guys with tattoos! theres something quite bad boy ish about it which i love! The closest I ever got to having a tattoo was at a tattoo themed boat party a few years back where we all used temporary transfers! I thought it was pretty cool!
