So i been working pretty hard yesterday and have made some realy great progress! Story for the lack of streaming this week - there seems to be construction work going on next door and as such there's been too loud to actually do a live stream.

So I am like totally in love with this guys face currently he fulfills every criteria I am looking for! Plus he looks totally hot! I would totally date him!

I was a total shock when i finished sculpting the head to see how it would look attached to the body and the results really speaks for itself! The hardest part was doing the hair - since its not possible to 3D print Hair/Fur simulations, the hair would have to sculpted much like a statue!.

I think he is totally going to look good as a desktop sculpture piece! Currently i am printing out a test piece today of just the head! Pending the test print goes well the next part will be to print a full model scaled down. and after that a version at the intended size!

But as some of you may be aware - my 3D printer can only print so big so the intention is to print this out in pieces and re attach it together in real ilfe. this is going to be interesting since the last time i tested this technique out it failed due to resin warping and contracting. But this time I'm determined to figure it out!
