on Rakuten a online market store much like Amazon!
However Rakuten is like totally impossible to set up an account since they changed and closed their international store. So unless you have a Japanese address and contact details its very hard to set up an account now!
Fortunately You can sign up to Buyee https://buyee.jp/
Buyee is a proxy shopping service that lets you bid and purchase Japanese products online. They will buy the product on your behalf and deliver to your address. This makes it super easy and awesome to buy stuff exclusively from Japan!
So all these items I totally bought from using Buyee! I was super impressed by how quick the service was.
But here are some tips of how I would shop differently on Buyee next time!
- when making your purchases from the store to Buyee - choose the cheapest delivery option. Its unnecessary to get the best delivery option because its merely going from Japan to Japan!
- instead save the money for the delivery option when they mail from Buyee in Japan to your home address. This is international so getting some kind of registered tracking delivery might be better!
- Shop around! You might find the same item at a cheaper price because much like ebay you might find someone willing to sell for cheaper
