BLOG : SCULPTURE LARGE TEST
Added 2021-08-27 09:28:51 +0000 UTCThe larger print test was a success. In fact other than the heel of the right foot which collapsed in on itself, everything came out near perfect.
I'm delaying my 5050 to the Monday - because I've simply been too preoccupied with this sculpture. I've been filing away any imperfections and polishing the model the best I can.
So with this test i had a few goals :
- to 3dPrint a larger sculpture.
- to print in separate pieces and attach manually
- attachable penis (magnetic)
This is the simplest example of the tests. The model would be 8 inches / 20cm tall ( previous model was 5.5 inches /14cm tall). Printed from separate pieces (though i still need to glue em properly. Have a detachable penis - this uses magnets.
All these things have been successful. So the aim next week is to:
- glue the pieces together.
- spray paint the the model to an intended target.
- sculpt and print alternative penis attachments.
So hopefully next week We can have a very accurate pass of the product in a intended sell-able form.
