Added 2021-09-16 02:44:26 +0000 UTCThis was meant to go out yesterday but unfortunately out internet upload speeds dropped to dial up speeds yesterday so it took practically overnight to upload everything.
So what I'd like to do is try and get a Short Story video out every week! (Aiming for the Wednesday). Which will add greater value and variety to your sub! Plus it gives be me the opportunity to practice my video editing and improve my video recording set up! It also gives me a break from doing my sculptures!
Please excuse the audio being a bit echo-ey as there is construction work going on next door so i had to adjust the mic to block out the drilling and banging best i could!
So I recently ordered a Instax Printer! Now this isn't really a printer per se - what it does is that it exposes Instax Polaroids to a image that you bluetooth over to the device!
This makes it super awesome because not only can you get a Instax Polaroid of whatever image you like from your entire archive but you can also make multiple copies of it!
Maybe I can send out signed pictures to my patrons (I'm not sure yet - i haven't thought this through with costs and stuff but its an idea!) Let me know what your thoughts are!
The quality of the exposures are okay! and they have a certain quality to it that makes it really rustic and beautiful. However compared to an actual digital image of course they fall short it terms of detail. I've also notice that they tend to develop with a much cooler temperature, shades of Cyan seems to dominate the image.
In comparison to the original digital image which is much warmer! However i do believe this all adds to the charm of Polaroid exposures!
It does make me want to purchase a Instax Polaroid Camera again though! I had one in the early 2000's until they discontinued selling the film. But then all of a sudden there was a revival in the mid 2010's and they were everywhere again!

Tomorrow I will be shooting a 5050 - yes I feel like my back has healed enough to take on this task so keep and eye out for that if you like photography!
