HAPPY MID AUTUMN MOON FESTIVAL GUYS! I totally forgot about it being a national holiday so its basically ruined my posting plans for the this week so far!
But I've Had so much progress working on another sculpture as I'm waiting on some spray painting equipment to arrive!
SO one of the goals for creating the previous model was to have a base where i could chop and reposition the limbs so that i could get a new posed model very quickly! The Red Model was the original model chopped up and deformed into a new pose and it worked soooooo well!
Once the new desire key pose was positioned all i had to do was go back into the model and blend in the seams and re-adjust the muscles to flex and relax in the right way! The skin coloured model is the first pass on the new model after some tidy up sculpting!
Personally I think this test was truly successful and was one of the key tests i wanted to do to be able to prove that its incredibly easy to create new models without the need re-invent the wheel again and again each time a new model is started.
So this model will be be printed out like the previous one and get the same treatment as before. Whilst i wait for my painting equipment to arrive!
So the next test to do will be to pose 2 characters together and get them to do naughty things together!
Today is actually a public holiday so I'm going to have to go out and do some family stuff! but I'll catch up with you all tomorrow! And i think I'll be starting on my next 5050!
