How about a video about hypersonic missiles, how they are different from ballistic missiles, why they are so concerning, and how the Missile Defense Agency is looking at them.

These are used in aeroplanes flying over oceans away from navigation beacons and before GPS were the only way to know where you are. Submarines must use these too. The early ones would have required amazing mechanical precision, the latest ones probably use ring laser gyroscopes. The earth's rotation will also come into play here. It's not for navigation but the reliability and miniaturisation of gyroscopes has made things like ESC (ESP) in cars affordable and practical and is another more familiar application of gyros.
