Chapter 44 Update:
Added 2024-05-23 22:06:55 +0000 UTCYo, it came to my attention that the transition between the PHO-lude and Chapter 44 could be a bit confusing, so I added a precursory A/N to the top and added a bit more context sprinkled through the chapter to make things more clear. Things such as Cassie having met Imp ten minutes prior and them having already introduced themselves to each other during that time frame. She came in so suddenly 'cause of how her powers worked, and I wanted that Stranger effect to make an impact with Cassie's POV.
Check it out if you haven't, it might help you enjoy the chapter a bit more. Shout out to homie for letting me know he was confused.
Also important to note: The person viewing the PHO-lude was Cassie, I forgot to change the 'viewing member' from Avalon to Iris in my drafts. That may give a bit more context as to why this chapter came to be how it did. Iris went from viewing PHO, seeing the people rally behind Avalon and Invictus, to waiting for them to show up as they plan to take on the Empire for Jason.
