Update on Channel and everything really.

Just like to say, thank you for the support.

Honestly, with all the changes happening with Youtube, I was pretty close to throwing in the towel and giving up on the dream. But upon opening up Patreon just now, it made me realise it's still possible to do Youtube full time, it's just the situation has changed.

I think the future of Youtube is fan funded projects via patreon / tips. So a bigger emphasis will be put on that from now on. Youtube can suck a dick as far as I'm concerned. They've basically gave a middle finger to it's loyal users who made the site what it is for years and sold out to the big boys.

Whens the last time Youtube even promoted a new channel? Probably never in the last 5 years. It didn't used to be like that btw. A lot has changed. So, moving forward, I will be uploading videos to a new site called Vid.me, it's new, it's small, but I hope it takes off or atleasts pressures Youtube to get it's shit together. I will still upload to Youtube but, maybe upload to Vid.me early to give it a push.

The truth is, even the bigger Youtubers are talking about quitting, this is effecting everyone. Not to be dramatic or anything but if you like a content creator and watch all his videos, support dat shit. For reals, because now is the time. If you don't, they're gonna be gone before you know it.

So instead of giving up, I'm gonna try to fight against all the odds and come out on top. A heavily scripted, edited, animated and irregular uploaded gaming series has no place on modern Youtube. But y'know what? Ain't gonna stop me.

Keep pushing, guy, and making that high-quality work you've been producing for so long. I'll keep supporting you every step of the way.

Hi Goomba. Sorry that YouTube has been rough lately. I am glad Patreon is helping, though. I would say you might want to check out MatPat's take on the whole "YouTube is Killing Channels / Selling Out" thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyHaMVRgBV0 - I don't know if that will help your situation, as your content would be very difficult to make into hour long videos, and/or published everyday -- but it may at least help you understand what is going on. (That is, assuming MatPat is right -- it is, after all, "Just a Theory.... a YOUTUBE THEORY". Thanks for reading. :D
