Mario Kart thumbnail process
Added 2023-02-12 08:57:24 +0000 UTCHeyo. Here's the sort of process that goes into the thumbnail. It's mostly me coming up with an idea, sending a doodle or something and going back and forth with ShyguyXXL with doodles till something works.
The original idea was just having the Goomba with existing Mario Kart artwork...to save time and money. But then I realised...might as well just pay more and get a good thumbnail and hopefully the video does better because of it.
We were kinda stumped for an idea for a while, but then I figured, it's the highest rated Mario Kart so having the #1 trophy could sort of symbolise that, which led onto the podium idea which made it into the final design. Huzzah.
This was probably one of the hardest thumbnails cos we were kinda stumped for a while since Super Circuit doesn't really have a distinct art style or any gimmicks to focus on.
Also, the Sonic Advance 3 video is almost done. Huzzah, should be done in a few days hopefully.
