Messing with Velocity (in Diva)

Here's a short video on how I'm using Velocity to add a lot of character and liveliness to a synth in Diva, as well pushing the modulation to extremes to develop the lead for other uses in the song. The tips apply to any synth but I particularly like Diva because of it's straightforward modulation capabilities (vs. infinite or extremely limited possibilities of other synths).
There's also some other random quick tips in the beginning that you might not know yet. Hopefully this inspires you to get more creative with how you're using velocity, or to start using it, as well as pressure (aftertouch) and other sources for modulation.
