Studio Feed: Starting from Scratch #7. Pt 1

Before going too much further on the track from the "Messing with Velocity" video, I started recording. This session is a great demo of taking a 32 bar loop to full arrangement, among other things.
I start by demo-ing/adjusting some of the other sounds in the track and working on a potential breakdown/alternate drop idea (not sure it's gonna end up in the final version though). I then start to fill out the arrangement chronologically + add new percussion. I then record in some automation on the lead and start developing the main breakdown and drop, mixing a bit as I go.

Some presets I just wanna see how much they are detuning when it sounds off so I can adjust
