Closed Species: Atomorph (all sold)

something a little different this time, I guess I'm getting into the closed species buisness, but only because these are Kaine's species and so it's kind of a personal project for me

Basic info about Atomorphs (short for Automorphic Units) 

Atomorphs are mass-produced biocybernetic creatures, each designed with a specific purpose custom-ordered by a client. Atomorphs were designed to be brought and sold interplanetary, then intergalactically, then inter-dimensionally. Their durability is due to being made entirely of nanobot technology, and are able to change forms & designs depending on the needs of the unit or the client. The only thing not made of nanobots is the "engine", a sort of functioning brain for an atomorph where it holds the data needed to preform it's designated task.

Originally, atomorphs were meant only to be robotic servants meant to follow their creators or clients, but eventually their continually-learning AI achieved sentience, many 1st generation ato-units deserting their owners, fleeing to isolated corners of the universes. Since then, mass-produced atomorphs have been installed with a "Will-inhibitor chip" which denies any sentience loops, but it is still not uncommon for the chip to be removed and for the unit to disappear from it's post. The difference between a robotic atomorph & one who's achieved self-awareness is a "chipped" atomorph & an "unchipped" atomorph

A unit's designation can be anything from technology and engineering, to manual labor, to recreation and entertainment, and each unit is cutom-loaded with a brain holding any information it would need to learn to efficently do it's task. An atomorph may have more than one purpose, but are incredibly rare & expensive due to the additional info needed to intall into the engine. An unchipped unit can also learn a new job, but will learn it slowly and naturally over time, unless the info is also directly installed into its engine.

Atomorphs CAN reproduce, but special data needs to be installed into a unit's engine to be able to do so, and needs to be custom-ordered. Normally, only atomorphs built for recreational sex posses genetalia or secondary-sex characteristics, but almost all are still unable to reproduce. Other than that, atomorphs are completely sexless and asexual

Though incredibly durable, atomorphs still need some way for their engine to recieve power, otherwise a unit will simply go offline and remain comatose until charged properly.  Most use solar energy, but a unit can be made to process almost any kind of energy.  Death in atomorphs only occurs when signifigant, irreprable damage occurs to the unit's engine, which can only be done so by incredible blunt trauma,  extreme temperatures, or incredibly malicious malware that corrupts the data inside the engine.

•  you're free to give them personalities, sexual orientations, gender, fashion, weight and height variables, scars, slight variations in markings, and minor coloration changes from the provided adopt. The adopts created are meant to be a simple base/idea. Please feel free to give your unit as much personality and uniqueness as you want!
• if any MAJOR design changes are made in any way, run them by me first, please!!!
• You may NOT resell them, although you CAN trade them if another owner is interested in trading it with you. This is not meant to keep them "exclusive" as much as this is a species personal to me & I'd like to have some say in who gets one
• You MAY trade in any owned atomorph for a new one of a matching or lower price, if I sell any more. instead of claiming with money, simply ask if you can trade the one you own (show me which one you own ofc) for whichever one you want on the sheet. Then I'll be able to resell the former atomorph myself
• as always, you are NOT permitted to portray them in art that involves rape, incest, underage porn, or feral porn.
• You may not label them with transphobic / intersexist slurs (ie H*rm, fut@, cb0y, dg1rl, shem@le, etc) or involve them in content fetishizing trans & or intersex groups.
