Hi everyone,

I unfortunately didn’t have the time to post the news last Friday due to some personal issues. But here I am today, so let’s get straight to the point

First of all, I haven’t changed my plan to release the next version around christmas (would be better to do it just before, as I’m not sure to have all my material after the 25th of December, but I’ll see how it goes)

I’m still not sure about the exact number of scenes I’ll include, but as I said previously it’ll focus on masochism and slavery. But 6 or 7 big scenes seems realistic

As level 4 is reached in each parameter, the way the scenes occur will change a bit. Basically you’ll have one main “quest” with a few choices that’ll lead you to different paths. Those paths will be in different environments and with different types of scenes (but always related at least to masochism). As it requires a lot of work for each path, none of those will be finished in the next version. Which means you’ll have to save before beginning this main quest, as you won’t be able to go back to the normal map once you begin it in this version. There will be a reminder before that though

For the moment, I mainly focus on the texts. I’ve finished a few of the scenes and began the implementation in RPGM (earlier than usual, but then I won’t have any bad surprises during the last days before the release). Concerning the illustrations, it’s only sketches and inked pictures so far, but I should show a few examples to the Patrons soon

I have the idea for the exhib ending level 4, so I’ll try to add it if I got enough time

I’ll also redraw one of the old scenes (the one with the merchant in the alley) by using the images of another scene. Those images will also serve as a base for one of the new scenes (it may sound like I recycle my work, but it works pretty well for the new scene)

Just as an indication: you might have noticed a post called “Madame de Montespan” for the $5 tier. It’s basically the beginning of a short story involving Madame de Montespan (as you might expect), in the 17th century in France (if you’re a bit familiar with her life, it’ll focus on the part related to the Black Mass). I’ll publish one part of this story each month, each time an illustration and a short text. For the moment it’s just about Madame de Montespan, but it could be about other historical characters in the future. The goal is to have some specific content for the $5 tier, but as a side project. The main focus is, and will remain, on the Nights of Suburra (and eventually the next game when this one is finished). I might publish the first part for the public next month to give you an example about it, as there are no “adult” elements yet
