The crowd is electric, they want to see someone kick Vader's ass, and Ron Simmons has a lot to battle against as he steps up to THE MASTODON.

The crowd gave me goosebumps and building a David vs goliath story in wrestling and having it be so powerful and effective is just insane. also fun fact he is the first ever African American world heavy weight champion from this match (others may have had championships before but this belt was like THE championship at the time and is way more of a big deal)and in Baltimore with the majority of the population being African American makes this so much cooler.

2025-04-25 03:11:48 +0000 UTCI remember WCW Main Event. Used to watch it and Saturday Night with my uncle. He was more of a WCW/NWA fan than WWF. Basically it was a second show on Sunday nights on TBS. Back in the era when TBS was mostly wrestling, Braves baseball, and Andy Griffith reruns.
