Glad to see you're back on Youtube. I, personally, liked more the old format of you're Youtube videos but the new one is not bad at all. I also like you're theories and I would like to see more of those kind of videos, maybe one at the end of each arc or major saga.

I would find it hard to buy that human's did nothing to him in his mind, if he was nearly caught and enslaved by humans. However like I said that does seem to be an anime-only moment. Other than that I do like the depiction of how he represents generational-hate because it seems to be very realistic. To be clear I actually do like the depiction it was just that filler moment kind of confused me in the moment.

2025-10-23 22:02:55 +0000 UTCI think about Hordy being caught as a child and being freed by Arlong, it happened, but it's not the reason why he hates humans, he did before and would be the same person he is now, if it didn't happen. He's like the conclusion of everything Otohime and Fisher Tiger said. The hate Fisher Tiger couldn't overcome in the end and the hate Otohime talked about when she said not to pass it down to the children. Just being told his whole life by everyone that humans are evil, putting the blame on them for every bad thing that ever happened and being driven into madness by his desire for revenge, hurting everyone in the process. Like, he is what they warned about and what needs to be prevented, the embodiment of the passed down hate, and hence the manifestation of the ancient grudge.
