I spent the whole summer wondering what I was going to do with game creation and what my long-term goals are, how to achieve them... I'll spare you the details but my conclusion is that I want to learn Unreal Engine 5 and Blender to create games that are not just interactive stories.
This was already my first goal when I started with Twine to learn something relatively simple compared to Unreal. But now I have to refocus on my primary goal and for that I will abandon the expansion posts and my interactive UR story.
My first game that I want to do completely (I have already made mini projects to follow tutorials) is a casino game in the style of Blackjack with card aesthetics to buy with the winnings. So there will be several packs of 52 cards with images that I will have generated and different themes. This is my basic idea to give myself a good practice in the creation of 3D models without it being too complex and complex, the creation of menus and animations but not too much movement of characters and NPCs. I think it's a very beautiful project that has the possibility of growing depending on how I find my skills and how much I like doing it.
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that the posts will only be comics to give me time to learn the new software and start the game. I would also like to do mini devlogs when I have something concrete to present and well, the rest is to be seen.
Sorry to only post once a week in the future, but it's for the best. Thank you and have a nice day.
The images are just there to give you a little more content in the post.
