AUG 27: Japan Post has updated International Mail ๐ฆ
Added 2020-09-01 05:50:45 +0000 UTCAustralia ๐ฆ๐บ ๐ฆ so I can send post cards by โ SHIP ๐ข but still no airmail. Iโm on the fence about what to do. If youโre an Aussie, would you prefer I hold on to the postcards for airmail or send by ship ASAP. Note: North Korea was accepting airmail and Australia was not until this week ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ

No, there is no airmail at all. No SAL, Small Packet, EMS, First Class. Only surface. Australia is okay to send it from Oz to JP but not receive it from Japan right now. Thatโs what I heard. Small Packet rates exist in Japan for parcels under 2kg.
