Hey guys, here's a preview of May's first package! Now that we've sparked some excitement by painting a splash piece, we're going to keep the momentum going by getting into the nitty gritty of concepting. Our next chapter is centered around everyone's favorite topic: CHARACTER DESIGN! I'll be going over the essentials of quickly and efficiently creating thumbnails, the importance of shape language/visual communication, and color story variations. I'll also begin the first half of concept rendering, which differs from rendering an illustration. I'm super excited and can't wait to share my knowledge with you on The Hideout!
