✶ Chapter 4: Awakening - Creating a Character From Scratch

Hey guys, here's a preview of July's first package! After familiarizing ourselves with the foundations (silhouettes, shapes, overall read, etc.) and basic process of character design back in Chapter 2, it's time to put our concept art knowledge to use! For this episode, I'll be conjuring a whole new character from scratch -- starting out with just a few key words and a mood board. You'll get to see my thought process for developing her story, making design decisions, and working efficiently by pumping out concepts.
*Note: I created the character portrait after filming July's episodes as I wanted more of a rendered piece to bring my new character to life. The hi-res file for this will be included in all packages, and the PDF will be available for those Eclipse Tier and up for the 2nd package!

And I'm so happy you are sharing all this material for us to learn, I can't really practice now because I've been having issues with my hands and drawing hurts a lot but as soon as they get better I'll start bringing to life my universe.
