Hey guys, here's a preview of August's first package! Now that we have plenty of characters designed and a better idea of our worlds, it's time to put them all into an environment! To celebrate NIMA's release, I'll be straying away from my usual organic scenes to show you my process for creating a cityscape.
OPUS is one of the epic main cities in NIMA's world. It's a cultural epicenter showered with vibrant colors, bustling streets, and activities taking place in every corner. This is one of my favorite pieces as depicting hard surface environments with perspective is a pretty daunting task, but we'll go through the steps of creating a full urban environment and populating it with citizens! There's a lot that goes into a piece like this, so it's important to account for visual organization and add little details that will breathe life into your scene.
I hope everyone's world is slowly coming together! We have 4-5 months left for the NIMAVERSE Worldbuilding contest and I'm so excited to see what everyone is coming up with! Keep creating and stay healthy 💕
