Hi there!I hope Ross sees your comment. Since I have heard lots of my friends say the same thing to me, may be I can help you get some idea on how to get over this. You might be feeling lost when you try something other than studies because you may not be having a personal project in which you can apply what you have learnt. Maybe you can think of creating a comic, or create designs for a video game.Once you have an idea in mind, the amount of knowledge that you can gain from these studies will increase a lot since you will will have a way to implement things.Hope this helps you in some way:)

Replying a bit late but I wanted to share my experience. My art block shows up in a different way. I am doing pretty fine with the Bootcamp assignments because they are studies. But I realized that in other way, I am completely lost and kinda empty. Don't know if I'm alone with this but I really hope that if I practiced enough and improved enough, I will find my way...

This is such a good reminder omg. Really needed to hear I can’t always be in output mode - I think as creatives we tend to forget to take care of ourselves too and not just the work

They give a few tips on how to overcome art block: take breaks, watch a movie and comeback or see what is it that you are having problems with, look for references and practice some more on that specific challenge

It still says *unable to find the video* ... some others here also seem to face the same problem ig😅

That was great! Side note: do NOT talk to your partner/parent/sibling/dog/cat about it. Haha They will be just:”whatchyou drawing?” While looking at your work that shows EXACTLY what it is you drawing 🙄 then say “oh that is an awesome leg, keep it up”…. I mean it helps. If only it was a leg. I jest of course. Do talk to everyone about it. Don’t be shy. The worst what can happen you will grow a thicker skin 💪🏻

Well I normally I cry for a day with a cup of hot chocolate in my bed, then the next day, I have to go for a walk, to prevent myself from crying again and after I walked I start again….nice
