The theme for Excalibur is such a beautiful piece of music, it's just perfect. I love how this episode gave us some backstory for Uther and Nimueh. Each time I see that scene of Merlin trying to burn the black knight, i think of the video diary when Colin says "he's gonna burn!!!" I loved when you said Uther shipped Arthur and Merlin! That was literally all merthur fans thinking the same thing, Uther gave them the royal seal of approval ๐. With the budget they had for season 1,I suppose they had to mainly stick to studio and the Castle in France.
