I was very clearly very insecure about my voice considering the amount of distortion I put on my vocals. I haven't listened to this in years and I actually cannot stand listening to how I sung this for longer than a few minutes wtf was I pronouncing words like that for... There's nothing wrong with it it's just weird how different my voice sounds and how different I sung it in the final recording and how different I now sing it live...
You probs know already but I wrote this song about being overwhelmed by life:
I had a boyfriend - weird, I thought I'd never get one of those
I moved out of my family home and moved in with a bunch of friends - weird, I felt like an adult
I hadn't started therapy yet - weird, my brain was an absolute state and I did not understand half of the shit I understand now
