Hello Everyone! Access: MPAniO7N#u1D Our Damsel tries her best! But, I'm afraid the giant Goblin will not be dissuaded by her efforts... It was actually quite a bit of fun to animate this little sword sequence, lol! This update took me a little longer to post than I wanted to, and I appreciate your patience! This is just a short animation preview, and a couple of renders to show off the overall "look" of the upcoming project. Both the animation preview and the still image renders are missing things like expressions, refined hand animations, simulations, finalized lighting, motion blur, etc. If you haven't seen my rough animation previews before, the animation preview is rendered without texturing. It's a very useful and quick way for me to see how things look, but it doesn't really show how the lighting will look, and what the scene will look like, in the final project. So, I wanted to add the still images to give you a better idea, even though they're not technically finished. Normally, I don't like to show incomplete imagery and animation. But, since production of this project is very front heavy, it probably won't be until next week that I have finalized preview images to show you. I'm currently in the refinement stage of the animation. So, I have the first pass of animation completed and now I'm going back through and adding additional key frames, adjusting timings, etc. And, once this is completed, I do things like animate character expressions, anatomy, etc. Right now, the project stands at just over 2 minutes long. But, of course, as I adjust the timing of things and build some moments out, that overall duration may expand a little bit. My plan is to have the animation phase completed, and to have started simulating and rendering, in about a week. And, like last time, once I start getting those renders out, I expect images to start coming out much more quickly again. So, next time, I will be back with some fully completed images for you! Once I get the simulation/rendering phase initiated, it's usually my goal to get an update out every 3-4 days until the project releases. Overall, with the shorter length of this project, my plan is to have this one out before the end of the month. And, I really want to make sure that happens, lol! I hope everyone has had a nice week, and looks forward to a pleasant weekend! I will be back in about a week with some truly finished renders for you. As always, thank you all so much for supporting my crazy art!
