Project 29 - Update 1 - 05/19/2025

Hi guys!

This week, I'm currently making Amelia Watson as part of my next project!

As the final piece of Holomyth itself, I was actually planning to make it when I heard that she would eventually make a return into Hololive, although briefly, to participate with some of their biggest events that they have. And eventually, I was like, "Sure! Let's do it! I guess it makes a great addition on my works~"

To put it mildly, I think that her design sheet is the best one compared to the other Holomyth members. Her model easily stands out as her colors were mostly bright, in contrast to the other Holomyth members that were mostly dark in nature. She is also the most normal one because she is not based on the eldritch horror like the other as well. However, I have to admit that she has a lot of gadgets and tools at her disposal as well, and her design sheet also helps me in making them out by keeping a separate version of it, which makes things a lot more easier.

Though there's a little bit of a problem during the rigging process, especially for the coat. I'd say it's mostly because it doesn't behave like a collar where the size is usually symmetrical so you don't have to worry about the model complexity. But in this case, it's probably going to take a while to wrap it up because I'd probably need to add more skeletons/bones to accommodate with the complexity of the coat.

That's pretty it for Amelia Watson. There's definitely some roadblocks along the way that kinda hinders down the speed of the project, but I think it's going to be fine in the long run. Stay tuned for the next update!
