Some more goodies..

Heya!

Well, big night a few models being uploaded now at the moment, Im going to get off the PC and let them do their thing (some of the newer patrons may not know about my internet woes.. our upload speed is capped at max 0.1mbps on a good day, while my download is fine at 10mbps.. so uploads are slow still, new internet another 8 weeks or so away.)

Besides some new armor I didn't tell anyone about (and will keep surprise for now) I am uploading a new Alien Queen model. While I had it out again and was working on the other one I figured I'd make the egg scene :) I have not seen one made by anyone so figured this might be a 'first' 3dprint for someone.

I am just trying to work out the best way of cutting it up. It's all ready to print but as you can see I will need to make some very precise cuts and think about some angles as this is a fairly detailed model and if printed as it, supports would be a nightmare on anything other than SLA... 

BUT.. that being said, check the other two images I uploaded. As you can see the tail wraps around the egg sack so that shouldn't require anywhere near as many supports. I am not 100% happy with the model I will be honest, the veins that hold the egg sack up are not how I wanted them to come out, I wanted them more skin like and thin but they proved to be a bit of a challenge and I threw in the towel on those, which I rarely do but sometimes you need to stop, sit back and rethink things.. so who knows, give me a week I might post an updated one if I can get it the way I vision it.

I am giving the Aliens a rest for the next month to focus on the Vader Helmet (this thing is really coming along.. almost brave enough to post pictures...) and other requests from you all. I'm finding it easier to devote more time here thanks to you all and I want to make sure everyone is looked after!
