Level 1 Access : Whats in store, a new model and a small update

For some time now I've been trying to figure out some good content we can all have some input on and actually at the end come to something fruitful.

As much as I love StarWars -  the monotony of it and also the fact Level 1 does not have access to those models means that each week its usually a brain storm as to what people might want an often its something that was for the sake of uploading some content, not necessarily what people actually wanted.. Usually i'm ok, but some weeks I just draw a blank - so to get things moving a little more productively I decided to start a project with you all that would not only yield models each week, but give you input and also amount to something at the end as I said.

This post is to gauge interest in this project. 

Please find the above model attached to this post.  Again, please do not share the files as that discourages people from signing up here which therefore discourages me :) If non members are interested, the absolute most important thing I can ask(/beg) is to try an direct them to this patreon so we can grow more. I try and not spam links everywhere as we get enough of that on facebook from people that just don't care, but I do care about minimizing spam so I really try hard not to.

If you guys don't want it, I won't proceed with it and we'll come up with something else. 

The concept essentially is "Hero Chess"

Not Marvel Chess not DC chess... Hero Chess.  Everyone can have their say and their favorite character get a chance. Mix and match games etc. (Multiple choices for each playing piece)  

I would like you guys have your say on what pieces you want and who is on them. Because I have chosen Spiderman as the test subject and made him a Knight, doesn't mean he has to be that.. This is merely a proof of concept. 

Although there is already an official marvel chess and DC chess respectively, they are very cluttered boards.  The full figures look great but often its difficult to play because you are constantly shuffling other pieces out of the way.

I originally intended on a Starwars chess set but that combined with all the cosplay models would literally have me doing nothing but starwars and honestly I need to break things up to even keep myself interested and this project seems feasible to me if I stick with high detailed busts and not full figures. 

It means more models out faster rather than having to model entire bodies which can take days and days. The webbing on spiderman took 12 hours to sculpt in itself (I know a couple of people saw the progress on it.. ) honestly by far one of the more detailed models I've made and my goal is to have every single bust as detailed as this (each one will also come with  non-chess base for normal printing) so I guess you could say they are dual purpose models.

So, this post as I said is to gauge interest. If most are a resounding YES! then we will move forward with it. This chess project is open to all Patrons and will be exclusive to here, the files will not be for sale anywhere.

LEVEL ACCESS CHANGES

The Level 1 Access is going to be adjusted soon to $3 per month

BUT this does not affect current Level 1 Access members, You will still pay $1 per month - that's what you signed up for and I would not change that.

The problem is, that $1 ends up mostly going to patreon and fees and honestly, you re supporting paypal and patreon more than the creator with the $1 donation, so that is going to be raised to $3 effective July.

Again - Anyone who was already signed up to Level 1 Access for $1 per month will still be on that agreement and will not pay the extra per month, only new patreons from July 1st onward.
