Last HeroChess piece before the new modular system.

I had sculpted this before I thought of the new system, so this is the last piece that will be in this format, I have uploaded it in both the chess piece and the bust by itself. The reason I uploaded this even tho it's not really going to be part of this final set of pieces is I printed it and man, it came out super clean, no supports.. one of those prints thats smooth in the right places with not many huge top layer intersections.. basically it made my worst printer look like it was on fire.. so yeah I thought you guys might like it, its a really fast print too  at any size, there is really little retraction needed like Spidey so it's not hopping around stringing up the place on a slightly off printer. Some of you may have printed my older colossus bust (with arms at the hips) but I have been practicing the folding metal look alot and I think this one is a little better, and head more narrow like the comics. All three released also will be fixed and added to the new system, but I figured why have them sitting here collecting dust at the moment.

(and yeah if you hadn't guessed it if I had to name my fav 3  marvel characters it would be spidey, wolverine and colossus, followed closely by magneto and nightcrawler)

I should also add this is not all level 1 will get over the next few months, there will still be dioramas, busts etc, but it's just a solid project we can continue on with and has alot of potential in terms of how many people get what they want :) 

I will still do the odd custom bases here and there, maybe make the king and queen a little more elaborate, but honestly throw any franchise at me, so far the suggestions have been awesome and i'm enjoying plotting a million new models to get these set's going. The boards we can work on later, they won't take long as it's more a matter of how big we want the things and also how you are all happy to have them slot together. Personally I think dual colour (stop print at height, pause.. change filament, resume print) is a great way to go for the boards if you don't want to paint them. They will have corresponding logos on the board also, you could go just as nuts with the boards as the figures to be honest.

** I have also added the Spiderman bust in the herochess folder without the base for normal printing, and holy cow did it come out nicely even on my FDM printer..
