MK-3 To be first off the rank this month

Thank you to everyone who chimed in on the Ironman post. I was initially going to start with MK-5 being the more popular, but honestly I have done a far more complete job on the MK3 and there are some things I still want to figure out as we go so the MK-5 will come after this (its much easier to go forward in marks than backward given the evolution of the suits. I also don't need to make these to a 501st spec, I can go back to using the movie and my own eyes.

I am currently making a new type of elbow joint for the above, so when that is done hopefully today I will upload the entire Left and Right Arm, the hands are separate from the arm of course, they are a bit of work.

Above is only 4 parts of one bicep, but the entire thing will be in this resolution (and yes shameless logo inside models, but any piece that has a logo in it is completely invisible from the outside from any angle). 

I am not going to sacrifice anything for file size - this thing is meant to look smooth and crisp when printed 1:1 and easy to sand and paint. I want a static display in my workshop too guys! cmon.. who doesn't... These are just not models you undertake lightly and I can't just slap it together and say here! print it! But, I am more than happy to share the files as we go this month and by end september, we will have the entire Mk-3 suit - but having access to the parts as we go hopefully should also speed up the process for everyone.

Unlike many of the models I upload that I simply don't have time to print (don't we all..) I will be printing this one with you - mainly as there are some parts that require special attention to assist in mobility.  The thing I need to test (and will be uploading for you guys to test also) are things like the Elbow joints, knees, ankles.. Things that basically need to be flexible enough for you to walk at a con for hours and not feel like you are trapped in an iron maiden (badoom tish*)  I know there are many prop makers who have made these suits and I have made parts of before so of course I will be studying all of those joints and movement ideas in the next few weeks as we go through finalizing all these parts.

Static display model - no problem at all. That comes down to me simply making an undersuit to fit everything, then making manageable pieces and its done.
