Deluxe Carved Trooper Helmet

This will be uploaded tonight when I go to bed, it's a pretty big file.  There are two versions, SLA and FDM.

The SLA version can be printed on a normal printer but be warned, its over a million poly's and 100mb... so it will take some time to slice so I suggest the FDM version (30mb) which will not show the artifacts from lowering the resolution of the model (hence lowering the file size) 

I was doing some jewellery for a customer and started thinking about a pewter carved trooper skull I saw years ago.. so I thought  hmmm can we?  and as you can see above, it turns out yes we can :)

Probably won't do another piece like this for some time, they are a little time consuming but I thought it was something unique you Helmet fans would like. I wouldn't mind doing a Vader or a Solid one at some point in the future.

I have not cut the helmet up. Honestly, I did not design it to be cut up as it will cut through the carving no matter where you do it.

It's also at the point in the year where I shamelessly beg you all to help me spread the word (which I really try and not do!) I know many of you run prop businesses and it's hard enough to get your own name out there let alone push someone elses.. but I am struggling to crack the 150 mark and have been for some time. I am hoping with some really high detail models like this and the animated MK-3 ironman suit  (lets not get carried away.. animated helmet for now.. it's gotta be able to open and close by itself.. thats a given.. )  Now im getting sidetracked... ok.. what was I saying..

I am cutting down on my commission work considerably from here on in to focus on Patreon and my printing business which seems to be picking up recently and allowing me alot more free time here (I love commission work but it's never what it's worth in the hours you spend - and then you also have the downside that you are usually unable to onsell or share that model with anyone else) Anyway the point I was trying to make was the more subscribers we can reach the more I can get to keep the content up.
