Do you know this person?

Hi all,

Firstly, I try and steer away from anything dramatic here and just keep it about the models.. but seeing as how everyone is connected to everyone these days, sometimes you just feel you need to get a word out.

The reason for this post is there is another file sharer (only this time quite open about it) and some of the files he is group selling are Patreon files from here, notably the hero chess pieces.

If you know this person, please do not share anything with them and If you are in the group he runs, it would be wise to exit it.

These people that run the group file-buy groups like Serge above, or the notorious Steve Higbee, Ross Sage, or Jason Kemp Senior... What they will do is..  do a group buy, so everyone puts in say $10 for a $250 file from D03d.. and then they on-sell that set of files in another group those people don't know about. So they not only scam the designer, but then they scam the people that went in for the buy-in by using that group buy model to make further profits for themselves - its got nothing to do with the group, they are merely part of the pyramid scheme that nets the scumbags the models without paying for it - everyone else does. 

These people are the scum of the 3D printing world.  There is literally nothing anyone can really do to stop them, they obviously were brought up with a different set of values than most (i.e none) so all I can do is get the word out about these people.

Just woke up, going to get coffee'd up and get some models up!

 School holidays past 2 weeks has seen me spending some much needed time with the family, and at the same time the closure of 3D hubs has seen a pretty large influx of print jobs, so yeah been a little slack to the start of this month which is totally my bad,  last day of holidays today, getting some good work done on the next few models, will be simultaneous release.
