Happy New year to everyone! (bit late I know... it's been a little hot in Australia lately.. we're running on summer time where you try and sleep through the worst part of the day...) 

Rest coming TODAY! I want to knock this thing over so we can focus on some other goodies,  this chest  was the very hard-long-tedious-never want to look at it again- part..  the rest was a piece of cake. 

Chest Added!
*Comprising of 16 pieces, greebles and connector tabs, this will be a reasonably big print.I have left as much space for the abs section to slide in under this, without it meant to be connected to the chest. You may connect it and have the Abs and chest as one piece as the movement will be limited even with them being separated due to the limited space between the outer chest and the inner snug fit. Inside the chest is a 'jacket' which is fused to everything.. this is so you can actually fit it without sliding around on you.

The full un-cut chest is beyond even a CR-10S5 500x500x500 area, so it has been cut into manageble pieces but I will upload some variations as per usual, if you have a printer that can print larger than 500mm high then yes you could print the chest in one go but would take weeks of printing and filament changes.

This was an especially challenging piece, in fact its probably the most complicated chest piece I've made to date. I tried to give it the bulk of the original chest but not have it 5 inches thick to print.. and not have pieces dangling everywhere.

Assembly instructions added to the dropbox folder for the shins + new toe pin V2 added which stops the Toe socket sliding inward (which shouldn't really happen if you're foot is in there, but this is if you are having issues with the toe pin.

Rather than posting something new every time (which will be A LOT in the coming days) I will just use the 'notify users of updates to this post' function rather than cluttering up the main page with dozens of posts. I should note also, you are not waiting for me to complete modelling the suit. No, that is all done. What I am doing it nitpicking over measurements because this is frankly a bitch of a suit to wear if not done right! once i'm happy with each section they will uploaded here in a short duration

Right now, there is the Feet and Shins. The knees were going to be part of this upload but I want a few hours to improve them, but all in all this will keep our printers busy for a bit (and you will see, this suit is probably going to be 2-3GB in size when completed)

As I've said before I am printing this all the way, I have 10 x ender 3's setup that will be pumping these parts out as fast as I can and any issues will arise faster than average.

I need to go and focus for a few hours on some Level 1 and 2 stuff, but please use the link above if you want to get a start on the legs.
