* Increased sword thickness x 4
* Straightened left wrist to lose that awkward hand pose holding the sword section
* Changed angle of forehead centrepiece to join nose bridge, less support around face required (possibly none)
* Embedded the Conan logo a few mm into the rock to make it more visible
*Fixed over-roundness in shoulders
* V2 is a dual FDM and SLA print, it should look good on both at around 500k polys.
First of many level 1 / all patron releases this month, this is my final Conan model for a while. I wanted to do this a while ago but couldn't do it until the sword was completed. If anything, I would be doing the Thulsa twin blade dagger and twin snake head necklace as I've wanted to do those for a long time also.
I have just included it as one piece, yes there will be a couple of spots for supports - mainly under the left arm but the rest should be relatively smooth.
Using Toshi-tne's conan face again, new body, hair, sword, base etc.
I have included 2 versions, on a normal printer the result will be minimal between the two. You of course can print either file on an FDM or SLA machine but be warned the SLA version is over 100mb so it might take some time to slice, where the optimized mesh for FDM os only 22.3mb. All the tiny details like the cracks in the leather most likely wont show that well on a plastic print, the stitches yes.. they should be fine.
Below are some renders with some of my attempts to render what looks like resin or plastic, im getting close, not quite there yet but close, i would like to give people some idea of what it will look like printed... without printing it.
