This comprises of a few parts, so be warned. I have cut them for minimal supports and to increase the amount of machines it can be printed on. The exception is the back of the scoop where the long cut-out sections are approx 34cm high.
This will require a fair amount of filament. Many of the parts were bulked up from what a CGI droideka would be as they were just too thin to support the weight of certain components but nothings too over-done for it to look out of place (hopefully)
We only have one more upload left for the Droideka, the head (which is a fairly simple print, and has LED wiring capacity for the eyes) and then we have the arms which are not all that difficult to print.
As soon as the assembly manual for those is finished they will be uploaded but I'm really trying hard to smash out more herochess pieces (I know I know... how many times have I said it..) but I really want to get those done and dusted.
Had a super super busy couple of weeks with not so exciting customer jobs and also school holidays are on (almost over) so that always slows things down a little every few months but we're back on track and i'll be working on getting some goodies uploaded other than just the droideka parts which were a little overdue sorry, its just a massive project in both amount of parts and the file sizes for the original templates and computing power it demands (the entire droideka in one scene is over 1.8gb, so even if we fused it, we would need to cut the polygon count down heavily for it to even be printable/sliceable.
PDF assembly for the neck and chest attached, files as mentioned are stored on the patreon access server.
Happy printing!
