Blast from the past surprise :)
As promised, many mag lev options coming for you all!
I am trying to avoid what we have seen before. Yep, seen floating deloreans, seen floating ironman funko type models.. but cmon, there is alot of things that float! :)
I loved this move when I was a kid, and i've watched it more times than I'll admit :)
I had debated doing a big diorama for a long time (one with the stairs coming out of it) and will still most likely do one day) but then the mag lev kits became popular and I just put two and two together really.
I have supplied an uncut ship but this of course will need supports! The best thing about this model is the ease of sanding!!! No major details, all nice smooth surfaces. This will be a great practice of how well you can chrome a 3D print in preparation for the T800 1:1 as there is no shading, just glossy shinny chrome.
I got the calipers out for this one so i'm pretty confident of things fitting, I am most definitely printing this and its currently on the machines waiting for me to make decent use of some Spazstix Chrome spray!.
Enjoy some of the 80s!
