It's episodes like this that show me that Beerus and Whis have more planned for the Saiyans then just training for training sake. They treat them like students. But for what? We finally know in the manga arcs after the anime 😏

Pocket dimensions can actually be cracked easily in the DB universe. The hyperbolic time chamber for example. People like Buu and Gotenks can just break them if they want. The real difficulty starts with actual universes. I think characters have been scaling above pocket dimensions since the Buu saga
