Here are the next 4 pages of my current project :)
I thought really long about how I could set up the story and the universe it takes place in and went with the good old 'explaining it upfront'^^" Might not be the most interesting way but it can be done with just a few pages^^ So bear with me.
I'm not 100% satisfied with the text yet so that might change.

(As for the grammar/technical part (if youâd like comments on that again; sorry if you didnât ;v; ) the only thing I noticed is that you say the Lanternfish would do âalmost anythingâ to protect their Lights, and then follow with âabsolutely anythingâ => Because of the âcontradictoryâ feel of these two expressions Iâd personally remove the âalmostâ (as it leads you to think there is a limit they wonât cross, while the âabsolutelyâ negates that possibility), especially to emphasize the death part that follows~ c: )
