Notes from a Farscape fan: 1) A brief note on Noranti: you compared her to a witch, which was intentional. Her bizarre, largely unexplained appearance on the ship was a deliberate choice to feed into her witchy, weird vibe. Sometimes I think it doesn't work like it should, sometimes I think it is the most Farscape choice you could have. 2) Jool comforting Chiana is so sweet and really established how Jool has become a part of the crew. Those two were always at each others throats early on, but now they hold each other through the grief. Another example of the show prioritising individual relationships between every member of the core cast. 3) Obligatory Rygel mention. He is a politician, a speechmaker. His powers usually benefit the crew in negotiations and trade, but here they show a softer use. A reminder that Rygel was genuinely happy when Moya had Talyn, and means every word he says. Of particular note is him recognising that Talyn was 'of both species', Leviathan and Peacekeeper. He has more reason to hate Peacekeepers than most, but accepted that part of Talyn and respected it too. 4) 'This show is so cruel.' Absolutely. I pushed for you to react to it because I knew you would love it. There are a handful of shows that can compete for the position of my favourite show - ATLA is one, this is another. Honestly, I think Farscape is my favourite of all time, even for its occasional flaws.

Even when it’s so damn unfair to the characters sometimes. The crew always pulls it together though and breaks through. I think that’s why so many people (myself included) are attracted to this story. Also, who is this old lady?!

The show is far too undervalued. When I saw on her “new shows” poll that it was in the middle of the list, I was heartbroken. But the surprise and elation that she was going to watch it after all, and experience a show that’s 25 years old and get completely immersed and emotionally involved has been a gratifying experience. Season 3 is great, but season 4 is even better…

Going to how low budget the show was when it was made. The dress Aeryn is wearing at the begining the one that works (but not for the wedding) is the dress the Empress of the breakaway colonies wears way back in season 2.

I feel bad reveling in seeing how much it hurts you but I mean it in the best way 😅 so many fantastic scenes this ep. beyond hope. the 🤬 coin toss. aeryn repeating john’s dying words (hmm how does present john know that 🤔). who is that old woman? my tiny shiny heinie! john’s loved ones being gunned down by peacekeepers at his wedding to the love of his life. choosing aeryn over earth. We're in the hands of fate now. We have to trust in that.
