2024-03-15 18:51:27 +0000 UTCI enjoyed rewatching this with you. Personally I think the first movie is the best of the bunch but if you enjoyed this one I think you should watch the next one too. One thought I've had every time I watch this movie is no freaking way I would have stepped back into that wardrobe. Sorry mom but I'm a king over here and they got unicorns and talking beavers. I don't think you caught on to any of the symbolism but these books/movies are heavily inspired by Christianity. Aslan is literally supposed to be Jesus in Narnia and his sacrifice for Edmund is supposed to represent the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. The movie obviously can be enjoyed without catching onto that one bit but I thought you should know.
